Located at the intersection of 25^th Street and Delaware Street in the Fall Creek Place neighborhood, Douglass Pointe Lofts is a mixed-use live/work development.  As the Fall Creek Place neighborhood experienced significant new investment with single family homes and townhomes, the development team recognized a need for commercial services in the neighborhood, while also sensing a demand from people attracted to the neighborhood who owned their own business.  The live/work option gives someone an ability to purchase a loft unit for their business, and then live above it or rent out the residential unit above it.  Douglass Pointe Lofts includes nine attached 'loft units' in two buildings.  Each loft is between two to three stories, and includes a commercial storefront on the ground floor, with a residential unit above.  All lofts have a full basement.  The lofts are a for-sale condominium product, with buyers purchasing the entire loft - including the basement space, first floor commercial space, and upper floor residence.  Lofts have sold from the low $300,000 range to the high $500,000 range.  Each loft unit was fully customized, with buyers having the flexibility to determine their basement and first floor build-out plans and all interior finish selections.  Purchasers have included a marketing/public relations company title company, a title company, a construction company, a hair salon, and a gourmet food market.
