The 32-story full-service commercial office tower, containing nearly 570,000 square feet, is the largest privately financed speculative office building ever built in downtown Indianapolis.  Market Tower opened in 1988, at the prime downtown business intersection of Market and Illinois Streets, just 100 feet from Monument Circle. It features a conference center and 38,000 square feet of retail space on three levels.  The total project cost was $92 million.
